Puerto Rico is one of several places I need to get back to at some point. There’s so much to see on that island that a day of exploring during a cruise doesn’t even nearly do it justice.

The Castillo San Cristóbal, originally built by the Spanish to protect San Juan from attack, boasts an excellent view of the sea. It’s also a great place to see some centuries-old graffiti made by prisoners. While I’m fairly certain that there are no whales in this photo, my wife did spot some in this area shortly before this picture was taken.
