In a world where Green Power seems to be the way of the future, a gas powered battery is an unlikely candidate for the spotlight. Clarian Power has come out with a gasoline powered generator. The generator is actually more efficient than traditional gas powered motor, using a single spinning axle instead of the twin rotating pistons used in most gas motors, and up to 20 to 30 times more efficient than a standard battery.
The primary use for this type of generator would most likely be used to power cars, or to act as a smaller version of a traditional gas powered generator, although future models might be compact enough to power smaller devices.
While it might seem counter intuitive to have a gas powered electrical motor, it could help to limit the amount of fossil fuels needed by making electrical energy more practical. The smaller amount of fuel, used more efficiently, could help to make electric cars more practical, appealing to more buyers.
The motor can also run on alternative fuels, including kerosene, propane, natural gas, ethanol, methanol or hydrogen.
